Our cravat & handkerchief sets can be made
to order from any of our huge range of silk dupion colours, to
co-ordinate with or complement any colour or wedding theme.
We can also produce our waistcoats and ties to
order from all of the
same colours as our cravats, for a completely co-ordinated look.
The
most popular item they are colour-matched to is the bridesmaids dresses,
but remember, we can match them to almost any colour you can imagine! |

Because it is not possible to
achieve
a perfect reproduction of the true vibrant
colours and
shades of the silks on a web page
(due to all the variables that
can affect the way they appear to the viewer), we offer our
Colour Matching and Swatch Service so that you can see the true colours
of the actual fabrics for yourself before you
confirm your order. |

There are three options for colour
matching:
|

Option A: Ask us to match a
colour for you...
|
|
If you want to find a match to a specific colour
fabric that you have already chosen (such as the wedding colour
theme or colour of the bridesmaid dresses) then the most efficient way for us
to find that colour match is if you send us a sample (a cutting or
snippet) of the fabric/colour that you are looking for. Then, we
can compare your actual fabric sample to fabrics from the
many ranges we have available to us (not just the ranges
shown on this website) and we will send you the best colour matches that
we can find. We have a much greater
chance of success in finding a match if we have a sample of the
colour from you.
All you need to do is print the request form via
the link below, attach your colour sample, add a
Stamped Addressed Envelope (UK only) and post it to us. Then we will match our silks to your sample and send you swatches of the
best colour match or matches for your approval, all prior to you placing
your order.
- You can send us more than one colour to match
if you wish.
- If you send items for us to colour-match
such as dress straps, waist sashes, etc, we will ensure
those items are returned to you along with your swatches. If
you send larger items please ensure you include a sufficient
amount of return postage plus the appropriate packaging.
- If you cannot see the colour you require on
the colour charts that appear on this website, please still send
us a sample of your colour as we have many other fabric ranges
available to us from which we might be able to find a match for
you.

If you are sending colour samples for matching from
countries outside the UK,
you will not be able to include a stamped addressed envelope for
posting your swatches to you, so to pay the £2.00 airmail fee please
click this Add to Basket
link. After completing the payment
process, you will receive a confirmation email with an order
reference number. Please include this number with your colour
sample so we can identify your colour-matching request. |

Option B: Ask for swatches of
fabric... |
If you simply want a few swatches
(fabric samples) from the colour ranges shown on this website, to see certain shades/fabrics for yourself before placing
your order, we will, on request, send swatches of our silk fabrics
to you
up to a maximum of 8 colours per request.
We do not charge for options A and B
but we do require that you include a Stamped Addressed Envelope
along with your request, for
the return of your swatches.
If requesting fabric samples from outside the UK, please use the
online Option C.

When requesting swatches by post, (Option B), be sure
to list the swatches that you require (stating each colour name
and
reference number please). |

For your SAE, a C5 (162 x
229cm) or DL (110 x 220mm) envelope stamped with either a
1st or 2nd class stamp is sufficient for posting your
swatches to you. |

If you live within or outside
the UK, you can use this section for ordering fabric samples
online.

If
you don't have time to request samples by post or if you
live outside of the UK, but you would still like to take
advantage of our fabric samples/swatches service, please use
the form opposite to order up to 8 samples online.
As with Options A and B, we don't charge for these fabric
samples, but a £2.00 postage & packing charge will be added
at checkout. Please select the First Class Post option or
Airmail option depending on
destination.The £2.00 postage &
packing charge is to cover the costs of sending the samples
you have requested to you by land mail or airmail, depending
on destination.
You will need a credit or debit
card to pay. The Add-To-Basket button
opposite will put the
samples you have chosen into your shopping basket,
then continue to Checkout to pay shipping. |

Please Note:
Your free Fabric Samples will be dispatched within 1 to 4
days of receiving your request (either online or by post)
with those timescales being dependant on the volume of
requests we are receiving at that time. Most are dispatched
the same day.
All fabric samples (swatches) that are requested are posted using 1st class
post
or Airmail. |

*Important note about fabric samples*
The silk yarn used to produce the fabrics that we use is hand dyed
in dye-lots (batches) and it is possible that two rolls of the same
colour fabric could be woven from different dye-lots. Although
it's basically the same colour, there is sometimes a shade
difference between one roll of fabric (or dye-lot) and the next. Therefore, because of the unavoidable time-lapse between you receiving your
sample fabric/colour swatches and receiving the finished order, we
cannot guarantee that the items you order will be cut from the same
roll of fabric or dye-lot to that of the swatches or samples that we
have sent to you, and therefore you may see a shade difference. |

A note about
Handwoven Pure Silk Dupion:
Silk is a unique fibre that has a special affinity to dye, producing
a richness and variety of colour that can not be reproduced in other
fabrics. As a natural fibre there may be certain irregularities or
variations in shade or weave and these are characteristics of this
handwoven silk.
Garment Care and Cleaning
Items made from this silk fabric require special care.
Great care should be taken when cleaning and all instructions
supplied should be followed closely.
DRY
CLEANING IS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL OUR GARMENTS. |
